Did You Entrust Georgia Broker Perry De Leeuw With Your Investments or Invest in WaterBos

If you engaged in financial dealings with PFS Investments, Inc. broker Perry De Leeuw, you may have the right to try to recover your losses

According to the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Duluth, Georgia-based broker Perry De Leeuw has been permanently barred from acting as a broker or otherwise associating with firms that sell securities to the public.

Since 2004, De Leeuw has been employed as a broker with PFS Investments, Inc. in Duluth, Georgia, and had no complaints or disputes on his record until 2016 (other than a reported misdemeanor and probation for issuing bad checks from 1984).

However, in April of last year, a customer dispute was filed against De Leeuw alleging that the customer had given him funds for investment in and to become a distributor for a company called WaterBos in mid-2015. In mid-March 2016, it is alleged that De Leeuw informed the customer that she would not receive products for distribution or a return of her funds.

As a result of the customer’s complaint and De Leeuw’s engagement in an unapproved outside business activity, and failure to adequately cooperate during the review of a related complaint, PFS Investments, Inc. discharged De Leeuw from employment with the firm.

And in June of 2016, as a result of De Leeuw’s failure to respond to a request by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) for information, he was permanently barred by the agency.

Since then, there have been numerous customer and non-customer disputes filed against De Leeuw, alleging that he misrepresented products and accepted investments for outside businesses not related to firm activity.
