The first is by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/blog\/did-your-stockbroker-sell-you-gpb-capital\/\" target=\"_blank\">state of Massachusetts<\/a>, with two additional separate investigations by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/blog\/finra-and-sec-follow-massachusetts-in-gpb-capital-investigations\/\" target=\"_blank\">FINRA and the SEC.<\/a> On Thursday, February 28<sup>th<\/sup>, the FBI, accompanied by officials from the New York City Business Integrity Commission, paid an impromptu visit to GPB\u2019s corporate headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement was made in <a href=\"https:\/\/thediwire.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/GPB_Capital_Company-Update_March_2019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">a letter sent to investors<\/a>, explaining that \u201cauthorities\u201d made an unannounced visit to their offices, and <em>\u201ccollected materials.\u201d<\/em> While the company did not disclose the identity of the \u201cauthorities,\u201d an anonymous industry insider disclosed to the press that the visit was from the FBI and the Commission. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/blog\/fbi-now-investigating-gpb-capital-holdings\/#more-7897\" class=\"more-link\">Continue reading \u203a<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In February, we told you about three investigations focused on GPB Capital Holdings.
