You wouldn\u2019t be the only one\u2014others have noticed, and now the State of Massachusetts has launched an inquiry into Fidelity&#8217;s fees. The fees are being charged to some mutual funds for using their platform for access to its retirement plan customers.<\/p>\n<p>The securities division of the Massachusetts Secretary of the Commonwealth sent a letter on February 27<sup>th<\/sup> to Fidelity to ask about what\u2019s called \u201cinfrastructure fees.\u201d The letter follows a lawsuit by an investor in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investmentnews.com\/article\/20190225\/FREE\/190229952\/fidelity-sued-for-secret-payments-in-401-k-plans\" target=\"_blank\">T-Mobile USA\u2019s 401(k)<\/a> plan that claims Fidelity conceals these fees.
