Dunn Under Investigation"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>Silver Law Group is investigating Woodbury Financial Services (\u201cWoodbury\u201d) broker Daniel J. Dunn <a href=\"https:\/\/brokercheck.finra.org\/Individual\/Summary\/3105100\"  target=\"_blank\">(CRD# 3105100)<\/a> for customer complaints filed with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.finra.org\"  target=\"_blank\">Financial Industry Regulatory Authority<\/a> (\u201cFINRA\u201d) against the broker.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dunn\u2019s FINRA BrokerCheck report, there are five customer complaints against him, four of which have settled for a total of $685,000. \u00a0The complaints against Dunn allege securities law violations such recommending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/securities-arbitration\/finra-sales-practice-violations\/unsuitable-investment-advice\/\"  target=\"_blank\">unsuitable investments<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/unsuitability-and-misrepresentation-2\/\"  target=\"_blank\">misrepresentations<\/a> among other claims.<\/p>\n<p>One of the complaints, which has since been settled, was Dunn\u2019s recommendation to a customer to borrow money against the customer\u2019s family home to invest in an investment that was unsuitable for the customer.\u00a0 According to the report, there are two complaints that allege those same facts, one settled in 2007 and the other settled almost a year later, but it is not clear whether or not the complaints arose out of the same situation.<\/p>\n<div class=\"read_more_link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/blog\/woodbury-financial-services-broker-daniel-j-dunn-investigation\/\"  title=\"Continue Reading Woodbury Financial Services Broker Daniel J.
