{"id":2518,"date":"2017-04-26T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2017-04-26T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/silverlaw.lawblogger.net\/blog\/marco-yanez-lpl-financial-texas\/"},"modified":"2017-04-26T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2017-04-26T04:00:00","slug":"marco-yanez-lpl-financial-texas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/blog\/marco-yanez-lpl-financial-texas\/","title":{"rendered":"Marcos Yanez, former LPL Financial Broker Under Investigation Over Variable Annuities Misrepresentation Allegations"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>Silver Law Group is investigating former Dallas, Texas-based <a href=\"https:\/\/brokercheck.finra.org\/firm\/summary\/6413\" target=\"_blank\">LPL Financial LLC (CRD# 6413)<\/a> broker <a href=\"https:\/\/brokercheck.finra.org\/individual\/summary\/5353857\" target=\"_blank\">Marcos Yanez (CRD# 5353857)<\/a> over allegations that Yanez misrepresented certain aspects in the sale of a variable life insurance policy amidst other allegations.<\/p>\n<p>According to Yanez\u2019s FINRA BrokerCheck report, a customer filed a complaint against Yanez in March 2017.\u00a0 The FINRA arbitration complaint alleges misrepresentations in the sale of a variable life insurance policy, and that Yanez advised the customer to take out a margin loan in order to loan money to the advisor.<\/p>\n<p>LPL Financial employed Yanez from December 2011 to March 2016 at its Dallas, Texas branch.\u00a0 According to Yanez\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/files.brokercheck.finra.org\/individual\/individual_5353857.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">detailed CRD report<\/a>, Yanez operated under the moniker Staib Wealth Management from February 2014 until the name changed to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silversailwealthadvisors.com\/team\/\" target=\"_blank\">Silver Sail Wealth Advisors<\/a> in February 2015.\u00a0 Yanez is no longer registered with FINRA.<\/p>\n<div class=\"read_more_link\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.silverlaw.com\/blog\/marco-yanez-lpl-financial-texas\/\"  title=\"Continue Reading Marcos Yanez, former LPL Financial Broker Under Investigation Over Variable Annuities Misrepresentation Allegations\" class=\"more-link\">Continue reading \u203a<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Silver Law Group is investigating former Dallas, Texas-based LPL Financial LLC (CRD# 6413) broker Marcos Yanez (CRD# 5353857) over allegations that Yanez misrepresented certain aspects in the sale of a variable life insurance policy amidst other allegations.
