That\u2019s an estimate of how many people 65 and older suffer some form of <a href=\"http:\/\/hppr.org\/post\/kansas-ag-launches-national-effort-combat-elder-abuse\"  rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">abuse<\/span><\/a>, be it physical, financial, or otherwise. And it is likely that the numbers are much worse than that, as only about one in 24 cases of elder abuse is ever reported.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fortunately, efforts are being made to tackle this growing problem.
