Worden Capital and Mark Kolta

Broker Mark Sam Kolta (CRD# 5324620) is currently registered at Worden Capital Management LLC (CRD #148366) of Garden City, NY. Previous employers include Aegis Capital Corp. (CRD #15007), National Securities Corporation (CRD #7569) Cetera Advisors LLC (CRD #10299) and, Chase Investment Services Corp. (CRD #25574) all of New York, NY.  He has been in the industry since 2008.

The latest was filed on 7/16/2018, with requested damages of $120,000. The client alleges “Breach of fiduciary duty, negligence, misrepresentations and unsuitable recommendations.”  No dates were specified. Kolta was named in the complaint, but is not the subject of it.

The next dispute was filed on 06/04/2018, with requested damages of $450,000, and allegations of “misrepresentations, unsuitable recommendations, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract & negligence.”  This case is also pending.

The next six disclosures, filed between 2/2016 and 4/2017 were either denied or closed with no action. Other disputes, filed between 2010 and 2015 were either settled or denied. One disclosure alleged “failure to follow instructions,” followed by a fine of $4999.

Only one disclosure is due to employment separation. On 11/18/2011, Chase discharged Kolta after allegations that he advised a client “of another brokerage firm in the trading of options during his employment with the firm without the firms knowledge or permission.” Kolta denies the allegations, along with his counsel. No additional information is available.
